According to FuelEconomy.gov you can improve gas mileage in your car by up to 3.3 per cent just by keeping your tires inflated to the proper pressure. Here's a rule of thumb to remember: your gas mileage drops by 0.3 per cent for every one psi pressure drop in your tires.
